FactoryWare MMS stands for Machine Management System and belongs to the FactoryWare software family of Eckelmann AG.
The Machine Management System (MMS) is a technology and manufacturer independent platform for machine networking. This enables you to immediately turn your set of individual machines into a digital machine park with low integration effort.

The MMS offers the possibility to create orders based on materials and processing programs.
Once created, the job can be assigned to a machine simply by drag & drop. The tracking and archiving of all relevant data is then carried out automatically.
Orders created and assigned in order planning are loaded directly on the machine and thus at the machine operator.
Reliable data from the MMS enables an exact calculation of offers.
Well-calculated offers increase competitiveness and thus the company’s success in the long term.
Knowing fast what happens in the production is the key to success.
Cyclical reports show potential for improvement and form the basis for strategic management decisions.
1. Connect the RedBox to the Internet.
2. Connect the machine to the RedBox.
3. Log in to FactoryWare MMS in your browser.
4. Install the adapter on the machine PC.
5. Activate the machine in FactoryWare MMS.
6. The system is ready!
The Standard Edition is available. The Premium and Professional Editions will be added soon.
To integrate a machine into FactoryWare MMS, the MMS.DataService will is needed.
Eckelmann provides the MMS.DataService with its own controller and E ° CUT HMI. Additional MMS.DataService will follow later from the machine manufacturers themselves or will be developed by us (Eckelmann or partners).
The plugin interface is documented and is provided by us for development. We will also make the MMS.DataService available as open source in order to simplify and promote development by third parties.
Yes, FactoryWare MMS is designed to be integrated into existing systems (if they have open interfaces). FactoryWare MMS represents a kind of “middleware”.
Once all machines are connected, FactoryWare MMS no longer needs to be installed. The user interface can be opened in any standard Internet browser and is thus available on PCs, tablets and smartphones. The progressive web app is designed to run tablets, smartphones or mobile devices regardless of individual operating systems such as IOS or Android.
Along with the encrypted connection your data belongs exclusively to you.
Initially, FactoryWare MMS is available in English only. German and other language versions are planned for the future.
